Speaker Profile
Yasemin Ortwein studied journalism and public relations in Ankara where she was born and raised. She continued her studies in Creative Writing in California, USA. She lived, worked and raised a family in the USA, Gabon (West Africa), United Kingdom and Germany. After relocating to her home-country in 2012, she worked as an English teacher and translator/interpreter. She translated works of Kazuo Ishiguro, winner of Nobel Prize for Literature (2017). She has been working as a presenter and MC for Speaker Agency since 2013.
