Gozde Berber Ozbalaban's Biography

Gozde Berber Ozbalaban, a shareholder and senior consultant at Management Centre Turkey (MCT), has been providing services in individual and organizational development, management skills, leadership, and change for 18 years, with the aim of unleashing the potential of organizations and their employees.

After graduating from the Economics department, Özbalaban completed her Master's program in Human Resources at Middle East Technical University and continues her doctoral studies in Education Management/Planning at the same university. During the same period, she co-founded Likya Management Academy, where she managed numerous consultancy and training projects for 7 years. She also served as the Lead Consultant for Organizational Development in European Union and World Bank programs.

During her collaborations with corporate companies, Ozbalaban managed the National Education Institute within Junior Chamber International for 2 years. With JCI Certified National Trainer and Head Trainer accreditations, she provided training in nearly 20 countries, including Japan, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Spain, and Italy. She incorporated approaches and accreditations such as Insights, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Organizational Relationship Systems Coaching, and Jungian Analysis into her consultancy and training work. She has served more than 150 local and international organizations, including Finansbank, Garanti Bankası, HSBC, Denizbank, Sabancı Holding, Coca Cola, Turkcell, Vodafone, Boehringer Ingelheim, TeliaSonera, Abdi İbrahim, GSK, Mercedes, Bosch, and Nestle. She has also served as a curator and lead consultant in four major change projects, involving organizations from the finance and pharmaceutical sectors.

In recent years, Ozbalaban has been working with companies and individuals in her primary field of expertise and brand, LEAD FIT, to deepen the concept of fit leadership. She designs leadership programs that focus on flexibility, agility and balance. She moderates the publication series and podcast program titled "Living in the Athlete Mindset."

Ozbalaban is a member of various civil society organizations and also holds the position of Founding President of the International Organization Development Association - IODA Turkey, the country's first international organizational development association. She is a speaker at international OD summits. She is a member of the Co-Active community and a professional individual and team coach.

Gözde Berber Özbalaban is interested in triathlon sports, swimming extensively to prepare for races completed in the IRONMAN 70.3 distance, cycling, and participating in ultra marathons. She defines herself as someone who loves life, a passionate learner and an avid reader. Her favorite role in life is being a mother to Tuna.
