I was born and raised in Melbourne Australia.
I completed my tertiary education at RMİT University in Melbourne City where I graduated from The Advanced Diploma of Translating and İnterpreting and the Bachelor of Arts İnternational Studies.
My employment has predominantly been in the higher education sector. I was employed at Kangan Batman TAFE where I worked in various roles including Adminsitrative Assistant and Project Coordinator. I have also worked as a translator and interpreter through agencies based in Melbourne.
I have been residing in İstanbul since 2010. After working in the private sector for a period of two years I attained employment as a freelance English teacher. I am currently employed at Halic University as the Head of the Foreign Languages and Preparatory Department. I also continue to do translation work including books and feature length film scripts.
Although I have always worked in the education sector I have always been interested in and passionate about presenting work and arts. Over the years I have taken many courses for personal development and in order to satisfy this area of interest.
I completed the Certificate III in Drama at The Nationla Theatre in Melbourne. I also took a Voice over and Dubbing Certificate course at Swinburne University.
I have hosted Turkish film festivals and other similar events held in Melbourne.
Since I have been İstanbul I have completed Certificate Courses in Turkish Dictation and News Reading & Presenting.
